Mukund Gnanadesikan is a poet and novelist who began as a sports writer at Princeton University where, among other things, he played basketball for fun. Leaving the sports world behind, his most current writing explores the themes of luck, privilege and love and how those shape our experience of life. His poems have been published in "Sheets: for Men Only, " an international anthology of poetry and prose.

When not pursuing his writing muse, he practices psychiatry in the San Francisco Bay Area where he lives with his wife and daughter.
